Research for International Tobacco Control (RITC) of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is pleased to announce a third round of the small grants research competition, "Research to Support and Inform Ratification, Implementation and/or Enforcement of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)".  This competition is a joint initiative of RITC/IDRC, the Canadian Tobacco Control Research Initiative (CTCRI), the American Cancer Society and Cancer Research UK.  The competition is administered by RITC/IDRC.  The deadline for receipt of applications is May 12, 2006 and applications are accepted in English, French or Spanish.  Interested researchers are invited to consult RITC's website at http://www.idrc.ca/en/ev-95693-201-1-DO_TOPIC.html for more information about this Call for Proposals.
