The Middle East Good Governance Fund (MEGGF) was established in November 2004 to increase and disseminate policy-relevant knowledge aimed at promoting good governance in countries of the Middle East and North Africa. The MEGGF focuses on the role of civil society and political parties in influencing policy processes, with a focus on Islamist political parties and civil society. The MEGGF is funded by CIDA through its Iraq Task Force and IDRC in cooperation with Foreign Affairs Canada. The following are MEGGF’s programming entry points.
