| 3. What research on evaluation does IDRC support? |
IDRC supports the development of innovative approaches to evaluation that respond to emerging project and program needs. Research on evaluation takes many forms including research projects (Active Evaluation Unit Projects and Closed Evaluation Unit Projects), the development of evaluation tools and methods, and scholarships for graduate students. IDRC also participates in discussion groups which serve as fora for learning, knowledge exchange, and the development of new ideas on evaluation. To access the Evaluation Unit's Active and Closed Projects, please follow the instructions below: navigate to the IDRIS site - On the left hand navigation, click "advanced search"
- Field "Program Area/Group" click "browse list" and select "EVAL" (highlight 'EVAL (Evaluation Unit)', click the down arrow, then click 'add')
- highlight 'EVAL (Evaluation Unit)
- click the down arrow. Be sure that EVAL appears in the text box
- click the 'add' button. You'll know that you've done this right if EVAL appears in the "Program Area/Group" Field.
