Knowledge sharing is key to achieving all of the CCAA program’s core objectives. In particular, it is essential to support shared learning on adaptation, and to inform policy processes with good quality, science-based knowledge. The CCAA program supports a number of communication and networking initiatives that aim to share knowledge and increase learning on adaptation. Such activities take place within all CCAA-supported research projects, involving the people most directly affected by climate change. In addition, the CCAA program team coordinates a number of information resources (such as this Web site and related information bulletins). The program also supports a three-year partnership to build networking and communication capacity among African institutions working on adaptation. New project to support communication and networking on adaptation 2008-02-20
A new project to enhance communication and networking on adaptation in Africa was approved in December 2007 by the CCAA program.
Support for African participation in adaptation events 2008-06-25
Following a call for applications advertised in April 2008, 12 events were selected for support.
