Over the past three decades, IDRC has supported research in Ethiopia to improve agriculture and health, reduce poverty, prevent conflict, and foster community-based natural resource management.
 
Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world; a third of Ethiopian children live in absolute poverty. To better understand the full impact of poverty on children, IDRC is supporting Ethiopian researchers who are participating in an international study.
