Bio

Martha Melesse is a Senior Program Officer with GGP based in IDRC’s Ottawa headquarters; Since joining the Centre in 1993, she has worked in various programs covering issues of poverty, trade policy, social policy, education, and information and communication. Ms. Melesse’s areas of interest include service delivery and the management of public goods, poverty analysis and monitoring, public sector financing, the research-policy nexus, and evaluation. She holds a graduate diploma in International Development and Cooperation from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters in Business Administration from the United States International University, Nairobi Campus. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Public Policy at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
