Bio

 

Gerett Rusnak is Research Officer for the GGP Program Initiative, based at IDRC’s Ottawa headquarters. Since joining the Centre in 1997, he has worked on IDRC’s programs in the areas of social and economic policy, and environment and natural resource management; and regionally, he has focused on Latin America as well as Eastern and Southern Africa. His interests include the political economy of social and economic policy, issues of poverty and inequality, research communication and the role of research in support of policy debate and reform. He obtained his M.A. in International Affairs (development concentration) at Carleton University and B.A. (Honours) degree in economics at Queen’s University.
