The Dispute for Land in the East is at the Centre of the National Conflict

Pulso Seminario

On the 29th of August 2008, Pulso Seminario of Bolivia published the article “The Dispute for Land in the East is at the Centre of the National Conflict” by Miguel Urioste, Director of Fundación TIERRA, detailing some of the recent challenges in the dialogue between government and opposition in Bolivia. The full version is available in Spanish at this link.

Since December 2006 the Connectivity and Equity in the Americas (CEA) program of IDRC supports the Agrarian Revolution Observatory project in Bolivia that aims to take the conflictive and dynamic "Agrarian Revolution" process forward in the spirit of democracy and peaceful conflict resolution through the use of the information and communication technologies (ICTs), by providing stakeholders in this process with access to information, communication, participation, dialogue and learning experiences regarding the current land reform process in Bolivia.

More details about the observatory can be read at
Fundacion Tierra’s site.
