| Bamako 2008: African Researchers to Speak on Health Equity |

Bamako, Mali, November 14, 2008 – Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) will convene eminent African researchers prior to the Global Ministerial Forum on Research for Health in Bamako, Mali, to discuss research and policy interventions crucial to addressing global health challenges. Researchers from several African countries will meet in a series of panels to discuss the impact of governance on public health and maternal and child primary health care, and linking health research to practice.
