CCAA at COP 14

December 1 to 12, Poznan, Poland: Staff and partners of the CCAA program will be on hand to represent IDRC at the 14th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
 
The CCAA program will host the side event “Enhancing African food security in the face of climate change: Are existing risk management mechanisms adequate?” together with representatives of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), the IGAD Climate Predication and Applications Centre (ICPAC), and the Permanent Inter-State Committee on Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS).
 
Time: 19:30-21:00, December 6, 2008
Location: Aesculapian snake room, Poznan International Fair,
 
Information on CCAA programming activities, and other IDRC-supported research relevant to climate change, will be available at the IDRC booth in the exhibit area of the Conference.
