PARTNERSHIPS FOR PROGRESS IN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT 2002-11-20
Alain Berranger, Director of Partnership and Business Development, emphasised the importance of partnerships in development research during a lecture he delivered in Tokyo, Japan in November. The lecture was given a total of five times to international students at the graduate level at three Tokyo-based universities between November 25 and 28. Concentrating on the theme of "Partnerships for Progress in International Development," Mr. Berranger focussed on current partnering principles and practices in the area of development research cooperation at IDRC.
