BENEFIT TRANSFER DATABASE
Prev News 21 of 26 Next

A reminder to EEPSEA researchers: You have access rights to Environment Canada’s Environmental Valuation Reference Inventory (EVRI).  This Web-based database includes monetary values for a wide variety of environmental goods and services from around the world.  It is well-organized and searchable.  Its purpose is to facilitate benefit transfer.

All environmental values estimated in EEPSEA research projects are input to EVRI.  As a quid pro quo, active EEPSEA researchers are therefore entitled to free access to the database.  A password is required, but this can be attained in one day from EVRI.  In case of difficulty in obtaining access, please contact David Glover (dglover@idrc.org.sg).

The EVRI website can be found at:  www.evri.ca.
