Abstract

The Angola Educational Assistance Fund (AEAF) is currently helping the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), Luanda, implement an information technology and Internet access centre. As part of this project, they would like to set up a demonstration school networking project. This grant will finance connectivity in three school in Luanda to allow them to participate in the project. The project has been limited to Luanda due to the political and military situation in Angola; it is hoped to expand the school networking model to provincial cities and rural areas a later date.
