Abstract
Like Phase I of the project (96-1051/003238 MIMAP - Bénin/Burkina Faso), Phase II will deal with the Micro Impacts of Macroeconomic and Adjustment Policies ( MIMAP) in Bénin. More specifically, it will continue to develop an understanding of public well-being and adaptation to the economic upheavals of the past few years. It will do so by providing information for use in developing strategies to attenuate the negative impact of macroeconomic policy on households and the most disadvantaged segments of society. The project includes members of a research network made up of economists, statisticians, engineers and sociologists.
