Abstract
This project supports for the Faculté supérieure d'agronomie of the Université nationale du Bénin (FSA) to improve the quality of its agricultural instructional and research programs. Its capabilities will be reinforced by expansion of a research program in Mono Province. This program was initiated with a grant from the Netherlands Universities Foundation of International Cooperation (NUFFIC). This project studies existing production systems, identifies their constraints and defines the needs of peasants to propose improvements of the existing technologies. The results should assist Mono province in planning and carrying out its integrated agricultural development project..
