Abstract
Research centres in Guinée face a number of challenges inherent in the research context: a dysfunctional institutional environment; insufficient financing; a training deficit among researchers and research managers; and poor utilization of research results. This activity aims to strengthen endogenous research capacity by helping reorganize the research coordination, administration and management structure; promoting the establishment of sustainable mechanisms for financing research; training researchers and administrators to develop, implement and manage research projects and programs; and promoting the emergence of endogenous mechanisms for disseminating research results.
