Abstract
In recent years, Madagascar has lagged behind in agricultural research. To carry out the country's various research programs, access to documentation and information on agriculture is essential. This project strengthens the activities of the documentation centre at a national centre for applied research in rural development. The project's mandate is to reorganize documentation to conform to the AGRIS system, to publish a retrospective catalogue of publications from Madagascar, to create a national agricultural bibliography, to equip the documentation centre with the necessary equipment to process and disseminate information about agriculture, and to produce an annual publication of research results.
