Abstract
This activity will support a workshop to bring together stakeholders from South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe to share ideas and lessons learned, and formulate a research and development program on coastal and fisheries co-management for submission to donors. The specific objectives are to provide a forum to facilitate networking among stakeholders; agree on the need for and scope of a coherent program; identify a task team to draft a proposal; and, identify strategies to ensure political support for the program and co-management.
