Abstract
The South African Acacia Advisory Committee Secretariat will be launched on March 10, 1999. Acacia advisory committee secretariats have been established in each of the other three target countries (Sénégal, Mozambique and Uganda). Representatives from each of the three offices had a chance to meet at the second Acacia Sénégal Forum, which fostered greater collaboration between them. This grant will allow two members from the Mozambique Acacia office to attend the launch of the South African Acacia Advisory Committee. This will provide an opportunity to build on the links established in Sénégal and promote increased collaboration between the two Acacia initiatives in Southern Africa.
