New project to support communication and networking on adaptation 2008-02-20 A new project to enhance communication and networking on adaptation in Africa was approved in December 2007 by the CCAA program.

The Climate Change Adaptation in Africa (CCAA) research and capacity development program  commenced in April 2006. The program aims to improve the capacity of African countries to adapt to climate change in ways that benefit the most vulnerable. It works to establish a self-sustained African body of expertise on adaptation that responds to needs defined by African communities, decision makers, and institutions.
