In 2007, the Institute for Connectivity in the Americas (ICA) launched its second phase with the support of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and IDRC. FGV-SP’s Center of Studies on Microfinance (GVcemf) and the Canadian school of business HEC Montreal invite to the discussion of the contribution of technology to the expansion of microfinance and the access to financial services by low income populations to be held on October 15, 2009 in Sao Paulo. The seminar is linked to the FGV-HEC-IDRC Project “Information and communication technologies (ICT) for microcredit delivery - the case of correspondent banking in Brazil”.
