Postdoctoral Awards
Prev Documento(s) 4 de 4

EEPSEA provides a limited number of awards for up to one year of graduate study in environmental and resource economics at a Canadian or Swedish university. These are intended primarily for people who hold a PhD in economics, though in some cases a Masters degree in economics maybe accepted.

Study programs will be designed to suit individual awardees but will generally include a combination of courses, supervised reading and practical exercises. Awardees are expected to prepare a research proposal for submission for EEPSEA during the study year, with the expectation of carrying out research with EEPSEA on completion of the award. These awards are available only to current EEPSEA researchers.

Applicants may propose a university or may ask EEPSEA's advice in suggesting a suitable one.

Applicants should submit the following documents to the EEPSEA Secretariat:

  1. current CV
  2. transcript of grades from the most recent degree (photocopy acceptable)
  3. a letter describing:
    • how the applicant would make use of this training in his or her career
    • the area of specialization for the study program (e.g. urban pollution, rural resources, economy-wide issues, valuation, etc.).
