The deadline for the November 2008 research grants competition is August 1, 2008. Successful applicants will be invited to the November meeting to be held in Bali, Indonesia where you will interact with our prestigious resource persons: Nancy Olewiler of Simon Frazer Univeristy, Wiktor Adamowicz of University of Alberta, Dale Whittington of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ted Horbulyk of the University of Calgary, Benoit Laplante, formerly with the World Bank and now a Freelance Consultant, and David James of Ecoservices Pty Limited. Our plenary speakers for the meeting is Dr. W. Michael Hanemann, University of California, Berkeley and Dr. Alan Krupnick, from the Resources for the Future. Researchers from
EEPSEA member countries are qualified to submit proposals.
